Karla pieced this sawtooth star quilt for our book Calico Cowboys. She used woven stripes, plaids and western-themed prints from the "Dude Ranch" collection from Moda.
The pattern "Stockyards Star" is a variation on a traditional star design named for Nebraska. Anita quilted cowboys hats, horses and lassos into the background. This is an excellent couch cover-up for a would-be cowboy or cowgirl.
